Underwater Portrait in Golden, Colorado! Summer 2011!
A couple of weeks ago, I had the lovely job of photographing one of my favorite portrait clients in beautiful Golden, Colorado! We did 3 looks all underwater. For this job, I used a lot of new backgrounds and colors - departing from my more traditional work. In May, an entire day was devoted to shopping all over Los Angeles and another day was devoted to sewing, buying fabrics and prepping all the looks. I think the results are absolutely stunning! A big thank you to my wonderfully helpful parents who helped all day long with wardrobe and props, to my incredible first assistant who made the whole job run smoothly, and to my talented-beyond-belief make-up artist and hair stylist, miss Erin Lebre! Not only did she come up with some gorgeous make-up and hair, she assisted me in nailing down all 3 outfits! All of you contributed to making this job one of the best underwater sessions yet!

Swimming in Fashion
Tribeza Magazine based in Austin, TX has licensed my newest underwater image to advertise for Fashion Week 2009! Models will be strutting their stuff down a catwalk located over a pool! Yes, really.

Fish and Fireworks!
Toby and I spent 4th of July weekend with 40 people out on the Vision running from Santa Barbara harbor to San Clemente Island, and then up to Catalina Island for the Firework display at the Isthmus. It was an incredible weekend. The fireworks were spectacular over the ocean, and the fishing was prime. Despite meeting each other on a dive boat, we had never actually dove together until last weekend.... Can't wait to get out there again soon!
